    About Seychelles

A small island nation set 4 degrees South of the Equator and 1000 miles East of the African Coast and spread over 1 million square kilometers of the Western Indian Ocean; the Seychelles is truly a wonder.

The endless beauty of its white sandy beaches to its crystal-clear warm turquoise waters offset by the backrdrop of its luscious landscape and adundant nature, makes this destination utterly unique. The rich culture and charm lie in its colourful history of the first colonialists from France & England as well as the first settlers from all sides of the idian Ocean.

Made up of 115 granitic and coraline islands, with 42 of those considered to be the oldest mid-oceanic granite islands on earth. Three main islands, Mahè, Praslin and La Dique are inhabited by a population of 98,000 people as well as home to one of the largest seeds in the world, the Coco-De-Mer.
